It’s that time of the year and you can already hear the infamous call from the announcers tower “REDD BUUUDDDDDDD!!!” Mandingo Pickles is getting geared up this year for the big race. Original MPC front man Nick Wey will be at Team Babbitts in Muskegon, MI this Thursday from 5-6p.m. to sign autographs. Hardings Market in Buchanan, MI will be stocking Mandingo Pickles so stop in and get stocked up! Come Saturday get up to the fence and go nuts for #27 Nick Wey, #92 Michael Willard, #42 Ben Evens and #4 Sara Price.

SJO Productions and MPC team up

Mandingo Pickles is excited to announce that they are joining forces with SJO Productions in 2010 as a series sponsor.

The Michigan State Fair Series presented by SJO Productions covers the entire state of Michigan with over 30 rounds of supercross style racing.

“Racing the SJO series was a summer job for a few years for Crobar and I. It was fun cruising around the state and having good battles on the track three nights a week. So it’s a good feeling to give back to the sport that has been a big part in our lives.” Big Nasty says when asked about the decision of Mandingo Pickles becoming a series sponsor of SJO productions in 2010.

Mandingo Pickles will be setting up shop at select rounds of racing through out the summer. So when you see the bright MandingoPickles.com canopy up swing by and get the same pickles Nick Wey and Ryan Villopoto choose!

Front Man Nyk Wey stepping up for the injured Ryan Villopoto and Big Nasty spinning wrenches for factory Kawasaki’s newest addition Sara Price. Also keep an eye out for the #92 of Michael Willard and the familiar #461 of Dave Ginolfi at selected events.

Nick Wey rocketed to the Spike TV Holeshot award and finished 4th aboard his Ti-Lube KXF450. Later when asked where Nick lined up on the gate he replied “I don’t remember, but I could’ve started backwards and still got that holeshot.”

Ryan Villopoto while in control of the main event was bitten by a “sketchy” rhythm section and broke the tib and fib right above his ankle. Although bummed to give up the championship with an injury Ryan is looking forward to getting back stronger then ever.

In Arenacross News Mandingo Pickles crew member Dave Ginolfi finishes 8th in the AX class and was voted Most Improved of 2010.
